The day is almost here! The Sunday School have been learning about Lake Scugog Camp (http://campscugog.org) and helping to raise funds in a variety of ways. This Sunday (April 27) after church there will be a Time and Talent Auction and Bake Sale to raise additional funds – and hopefully to finish our goal of sending 6 kids to camp!
This week, consider making something to bring on Sunday to sell – a contribution for our bake table or a bird feeder! The kids have made a few types of bird feeders (fitting with the outdoor experience of camp and a great thing for people to buy who try to limit their intake of sweets) and here are some other suggestions – http://www.pinterest.com/onepartsunshine/diy-bird-feeders-to-make-with-kids/
